The depth of resilience plays a profound role in this verse from the Quran because even in its simplicity it reveals a powerful message.  The word ‘with’ expresses that ease can indeed be found within hardship. And resilience is attained by knowing that Allah has given us the strength and patience to bear it.

This piece is infused with elements of resilience to honor the people of Palestine. Within the painting, you will find the colors of the flag red, black, white and green. This inclusion of the flag serves as a poignant reminder that their plight is also our test. It also serves as a tribute to knowing that the ease in our hardship is already there.
